XYZprinting Showcases Open Platform Fast Cycle Sintering 3D Printers at IMTS 2022

3D printing company XYZ print presents its SLS printing machines with Open Platform Fast Cycle Sintering at IMTS 2022 in Chicago. It will showcase the MfgPro236 xS, which the company says is the ideal choice for on-demand manufacturers, research institutes, and third-party material suppliers.

The system offers print speeds of up to 22mm per hour and faster cool down and break times. XYZprinting SLS machines offer the option of using end-of-life powder from peer machines to print parts. In addition to being more durable, the 236’s small build volume allows for a full 22 hour build cycle with a 2 hour cool down cycle.

“Adopting the smaller platform for high daily throughput is a game changer. Our customers have options for an accelerated two business day turnaround time in their 3D printing department, these machines allow them to print more accelerated jobs and the print quality is as good as any printer on the market,” said XYZprinting Director for Industrial Printers of the Americas John Calhoun.

XYZprinting details its approach to producing less waste with its SLS 3D printers. It says end-of-life powder or waste on a large format SLS machine can be mixed with 20-30% fresh XYZ printing powder and get great results. An open platform system allows users to decide which powder they want to use and purchase from any material supplier.

JawsTec added four MfgPro230 xS SLS machines to its fleet of MJF, EOS, AMT, Dyemansion and CNC machines in July.

XYZprinting’s Director of US Industrial Printers, John Calhoun, said, “JawsTec spent two months testing reliability, accuracy, parts software quality, and workflow integration. The result of this test made the four-unit expansion an easy choice.

XYZ will also showcase the da Vinci Pro EVO scalable desktop 3D printer, which supports materials for advanced use of TPU, PC, nylon, and carbon fiber. According to the company, 3 machinesrd generation filament feed improves the reliability of multiple material extrusion with an airflow cooling fan providing stable and varied material support.
